Thomas Tuchel and Chelsea will continue their pursuit for the Premier League title as they face the deadly Leeds United this Saturday.

Indeed, Leeds United have established themselves as one of the most fearsome sides since joining the Premier League, and Thomas Tuchel does not think otherwise.

Under Marcelo Bielsa, the Peacocks managed to earn a ninth-place finish in the English top-flight last campaign. However, they have struggled a bit during this new season and are currently in the 15th spot.

Everybody is aware of the style of play that Leeds can bring on the field, and Chelsea boss Tuchel is quite aware of it. The Blues have been fluent this season and are looking to get back on track for the title contention this weekend.

Ahead of a difficult test for Chelsea against Leeds on Saturday afternoon, Tuchel talked about the preparations.

The German boss is expecting a lot of heat on the pitch as he said: “It will not stop until you’re in the shower.”

“We need to be ready for that from the first to the last minute. I expected intensity, runs, man-marking in the opponent’s half, a very unique approach to football and to play against.”

“It reminds me a bit of Atalanta [in Italy], very unique. We need to be strong individually and we need to have very strong connections of two or three players. This is how we can impose our quality and this is what you need to do against Leeds.”
