Thomas Tuchel reflects on the unique qualities that Neymar and Kylian Mbappe offer ahead of the Champions League semi-finals.

In Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, Paris Saint-Germain possess two of the most potent attackers in the world.

The Brazilian scored an incredible 13 goals in 15 matches while the Frenchman notched up an equally impressive 18 goals in 20 matches to help PSG clinch the Ligue 1 title last season.

Both Neymar and Mbappe played a key role in guiding their side past Atalanta in the Champions League quarter-finals. The latter set up the winning goal while the former assisted the equalizer.

Both the attackers will be required to maintain their form on Tuesday when PSG face RB Leipzig.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, coach Thomas Tuchel expressed his delight over being able to call on both his stars.

“This is our strong point,” said Tuchel, as Goal reports. “They always make a difference. It’s a good mix between Neymar who dribbles and Kylian who brings speed and who is hungry to score all the time.

“In each team, you have small connections. The two together are exceptional.

“Ney is a little bit different as a leader. He has quality, a lot of confidence in the field, courage too. He always wants to win and he always wants to fight. He loves competition and that is essential for a leader.”
