Trouble as two Chelsea stars involved in huge training ground fight

Latest reports suggest Antonio Rudiger was dismissed from the Chelsea training ground after a bust-up with Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Acording to a report, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel dismissed Antonio Rudiger from training after a bust-up with goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga. It comes after the Blues’ 5-2 thrashing at the hands of West Brom.

Thiago Silva’s red card proved to be costly for Chelsea as Sam Allardyce’s men had a field day upfront. Matheus Pereira and Callum Robinson both bagged braces to condemn Tuchel to his first loss as Chelsea manager.

After the match, the German manager urged his players to respond in the right manner. In similar fashion, Kurt Zouma also urged his teammates to forget about excuses and just look to bounce back in the Champions League.

According to the Telegraph, Rudiger saw red in Easter Sunday training and was sent back inside to calm down after pushing and shoving involving Kepa.

Sources claim the bust-up was sparked by a late tackle by Rudiger on the Spaniard, who reacted strongly and things escalated into a physical confrontation.

Tuchel gave Rudiger time to cool off indoors while Kepa continued the last five minutes of the session at Cobham.

The report adds that the German international later took it upon himself to apologise and Tuchel doesn’t expect any further issues between the pair.

Elsewhere, captain Cesar Azpilicueta and defender Reece James are also believed to have exchanged strong words in dressing room after the 5-2 defeat. The Blues captain holds James responsible for West Brom’s second goal.

Despite that, the pair spoke in private after that and resolved their differences.

Such reports will nring unceessary distarction for Chelsea as they look to bounce back and return to winning ways against Porto in the Champions League.

For Rudiger, it won’t be the first time he his involved in such an incident, with similar happening during the reign of Frank Lampard.
