One of Tottenham’s defenders is in big trouble after crashing his car at four in the morning in Northampton.

England and Spurs star player Danny Rose has been put under arrest after crashing his car this Wednesday around 4 am. According to The Sun, the English defender drove his car at high speed straight into a central reservation on a highway two hours away from London.

Although it is yet to be confirmed if the car belonged to Danny Rose, the player was examined on the scene. The vehicle was left with only three wheels left and its bumper hanging off.

“The car was very badly damaged and only had three wheels. He was lucky to get out of it alive,” a source told The Sun.

The player was breathalyzed on the scene but the officers found no evidence of inebriation. However, Rose was arrested for dangerous driving as reports claim he was way above the speed limit.

“He was breathalyzed but was nowhere near reaching the alcohol limit. The officers at the scene arrested him for dangerous driving and were concerned about his condition.”

Additionally, it was speculated that the England international was on his way to meet his family in Doncaster, where he’s originally from. Danny Rose has been left out of Mourinho’s squad selection this season. Moreover, the player has had several problems off the pitch, having spoken openly about his depression two years ago.

Rose is the second English international to run into trouble with the law after a car crash this month. In fact, Jack Grealish was recently banned from driving for nine months after being convicted for careless driving.
