The Spurs have finalized moves for Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski on the final day of the January transfer window.

Tottenham have confirmed the signings of two Juventus stars during the last hours of the winter transfer window. The Spurs have added Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski after spending after remaining inactive for most of the transfer window.

“We are delighted to announce the signing of Rodrigo Bentancur from Juventus, subject to international clearance and a work permit,” Tottenham’s official statement reads.

“The midfielder has signed a contract with us until 2026.”

Bentancur’s move comes after Spurs failed to secure the signature of Adama Traore, who joined Barcelona earlier this week. Unlike Bentancure, Kulusevski’s contract is not permanent.

Spurs have signed the Swedish winger on an initial 18-month loan deal, which includes an obligation to buy depending on certain conditions. Tottenham will reportedly pay €10m for the loan.

Tottenham’s sporting director Fabio Paratici, who left Juventus last year, is pushing to salvage Tottenham’s frustrating transfer window. In addition to their new signings, Tottenham also loaned out Tanguay Ndombele on deadline day.

Spurs boss Antonio Conte has repeatedly called for squad reinforcement in recent weeks. It remains to be seen whether the pair can help Spurs in their close race to secure a top-four finish.
