The Spurs have been keeping tabs on an in-demand Everton star.

Tottenham have reportedly joined the transfer race for Richarlison ahead of the next season.

The Brazilian striker has attracted interest from several elite clubs. However, the Spurs are keen to fight for the signature of the 25-year-old.

According to Goal, Tottenham have already entered negotiations with Richarlison’s representatives. However, they are yet to submit a formal offer to Everton for the striker.

Richarlison’s current contract at Goodison Park runs until 2024, meaning Everton are under no pressure to sign the Brazil international.

However, a bidding war between the interested parties could lure Everton into selling their star striker. In addition to Spurs, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are Richarlison’s main suitors.

Bayern Munich might also enter the transfer race after the potential departure of Robert Lewandowski this summer. However, according to English sources, Richarlison prefers to stay in the Premier League, which puts Man United and Tottenham in a better position to sign him.

Asked about a possible transfer away from Everton, the Brazilian star said in May: “When we talk about changing clubs it’s a little bit complicated, due to the history I have there at Everton.

“The fans like me a lot. And when there are these talks about changing clubs, I feel like I don’t have anything to say. But I made myself clear to the board, I have talked with Frank Lampard as well. He knows what I want.”
