Ex-Spurs forward Peter Crouch believes Tottenham have a genuine chance of challenging for the Premier League title this season.

A few believe Tottenham have a good chance to go all out for silverware this season and Peter Crouch seems to be in agreement.

The Premier League title race has blown hot and cold so far and it’s still too early to say anything.

Aston Villa and Everton find themselves in the top four and that alone highlights the unstable nature of the League so far. Tottenham are not far off in fifth place but they have put up some of the best performances of the season.

Their 6-1 thrashing of United was a testament to the above and they also have players firing on all cylinders. Harry Kane and Son are fast becoming a deadly duo with the latter leading the scoring charts with eight goals to his name already.

At the moment, only five points separate the top 14 teams and Crouch has given his predictions on the title race.

He still sees Liverpool and Manchester City as top favorites but insists Tottenham are very much in the picture.

“It is a crazy league and it feels like anyone can beat anyone at the moment,” Crouch said as per Sky Sports.

“I would say City and Liverpool aren’t as strong as they were and other teams have got stronger. It is definitely something to do with fans not being in the ground, which is causing some strange results and lots of goals.

“The league is up for grabs. Can Tottenham win it? I’m not sure but I think they’ve got as good a chance
as anyone.

“City and Liverpool have to be the favourites just because they’ve been the strongest team over the last three years.”

Tottenham will travel to Belgium to face Antwerp on Thursday in the Europa League before turning their attention to the Premier League against Brighton on Sunday.
