Spurs were simply no match for their London rivals on Sunday night as their front three combined to shoot down the Eagles.
Gareth Bale continued his superb run of form while Harry Kane also starred as Tottenham secured a dominant 4-1 over Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
Bale opened the scoring for his side at the 25-minute mark and, after Christian Benteke had leveled the matters for the visitors, headed in quickly after the break to restore the lead.
Kane, who was the architect for both goals for the Welsh winger, scored Spurs’ third of the night with a stunning strike as he curled in a first-time right-footed effort into the top corner from 22 yards out.
The Three Lions skipper then headed into the empty net to bag a brace after Son Heung-min had put it on a plate for him.
It was the 14th time in the league this season that Kane & Son had combined, and the pair set a record for most goal combinations in a Premier League season.
The victory at home boosts Tottenham’s Champions League qualification hopes as they are now just two points short of entering the top-four.
