An action-packed derby saw Arsenal beat their arch-rivals with two first-half goals.
Arsenal defeated Tottenham 2-0 in their Premier League game on Sunday. A dominating display in the first half was enough to ensure another crucial victory for the Gunners.

Arsenal started off by putting Tottenham’s backline under immense pressure from both flanks.
Following a few missed chances, the Gunners opened the scoring in the 14th minute. Bukayo Saka’s shot from a tight angle saw Hugo Lloris score a ridiculous own goal.
The French keeper fumbled the ball over the line as Arsenal went ahead 1-0. The hosts tried to take control over the possession after the goal, but Arsenal re-established their dominance quickly.
The Gunners missed a few more chances before finally doubling their lead in the 36th minute. Following an assist from Saka, Martin Odegaard latched onto the ball behind the box before rifling a precise low shot into the bottom-right corner of the net.
Arsenal were more conservative with their attacks in the second period. But Mikel Arteta’s men managed to effectively control Tottenham’s efforts to get back into the game.
The victory sends Arsenal eight points above Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table. The Gunners will face Manchester United in the next weekend’s most-anticipated match.
