The Bianconeri have been stuck in crisis since the start of the current season.

Massimiliano Allegri has insisted Juventus are ‘focused’ on bouncing back from their current form ahead of the Turin derby.

Another shock defeat saw Juve lose 2-0 against Maccabi Haifa on Tuesday. Allegri’s side are now on the verge of crashing out of the Champions League while sitting eighth in the Premier League table.

Juventus chairman Andrea Agnelli expressed his support for Allegri after the defeat in Israel.

Some Italian outlets claimed the decision enraged a number of Juve’s squad members. But Allegri says he communicates with the team to find a solution out of the current crisis.

“These are unfounded rumours,” he said. “The team has never asked not to retire.

“We know the moment, we came back on Wednesday, we trained when we arrived and the next morning we were on the pitch.

“We are focused on trying to get out of this situation which is certainly not beautiful, we know that we cannot come out with just one match, but we must start achieving results.

“I talk to the team every day. Withdrawal is just a moment to be together, it is not a punishment.

“We had yesterday and today to do double workouts, to give a little more order. Because it is normal that when there are no results, we tend to see things blacker than they are.”
