Ahead of a crazy second half of October, we will take a look at the most exciting matches that are taking place throughout Europe.

Europe will give us some of the most exciting matches of this new season during the month of October right after the current international break. We are going to take a look at the most exciting ones from the second half of the month and give you our predictions. It’s time for you to decide which of these games is more important and who will come out on top in every single one of them.

6.- Everton vs Liverpool

The Merseyside Derby will have a new light with everything the Toffees have done over the last season. Carlo Ancelotti finally has a competitive-enough squad that can guarantee him a shot at the title this year. Everybody will be looking at what James Rodriguez will do against one of the strongest clubs in the world. Jürgen Klopp must be extra ready to face Everton right after the international break on October 17. We will give the Toffees the edge for this one.

5.- Inter Milan vs AC Milan

We are getting another massive derby on October 17, only this one will happen in Italy. As both sides from the same city go through a major revival in Serie A, Inter Milan plays AC Milan in San Siro. With Zlatan Ibrahimovic completely recovered from the coronavirus, this could be one of the biggest matches in the month of October. There’s a good chance both sides will come out swinging with their offensive weapons at full capacity. The Rossoneri will win this one if Zlatan plays the game.

4.- Bayern Munich vs Atletico Madrid

Only a few days after the other two games on this list, we have one of the first major Champions League matches of the season. The reigning champions face the always difficult Colchoneros coached by Diego Simeone. This game will put Luis Suarez’s five-year away goal drought to the test with a different club.

We’ll see how much it’s his fault and how much it was playing at FC Barcelona. Bayern has the edge for this game but we must never underestimate Diego Simeone’s squads. Even though Atletico is a tough cookie, we think Bayern will win this one at Allianz Arena.

3.- PSG vs Manchester United

A day before the reigning champions make their debut, we have the first big match in a new Champions League season. Paris Saint-Germain are after revenge from the elimination they suffered against PSG a couple of years back. The French side has come a long way from that level of performance and they will be out for blood.

Meanwhile, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will try to hold on to his job before this match takes place as he is pending from a thread. The French giants are favorites to win at Parc des Princes. Oh! We almost forgot that a certain Edinson Cavani will play against PSG.

2.- FC Barcelona vs Real Madrid

Even though Ronaldo is no longer playing for Los Blancos, El Clasico will always remain interesting to watch. Lionel Messi will get another chance to score against Real Madrid and enlarge his goal-tally at Camp Nou. This will be the first of many games between both sides this season, and a thrilling confrontation between Zidane and Koeman. Messi will reign against Los Blancos at Camp Nou.

1.- Juventus vs FC Barcelona

To round up the month of October, we have one of the most expected matches of the year in the Champions League. The first of two confrontations between FC Barcelona and Juventus. That’s right! We have another edition of the Messi vs Ronaldo rivalry that will give us an initial two games. The first of these matches will take place at Allianz Arena in Turin, just a few days before Halloween. We predict a draw for this match.
