Nicknamed “Mirko”, Miroslav Votava is a former West German international who played as a defensive midfielder. He began his Bundesliga career at Borussia Dortmund in 1974 and went on to play for Werder Bremen and VfB Oldenburg. In a career that spanned over two decades, Votava amassed 546 Bundesliga appearances, scoring 43 goals.

Klaus Fichtel was a German defender who played for Schalke 04 and Werder Bremen during his career. He played in 552 Bundesliga games, scoring 14 goals, making him the fourth-highest appearance-maker in the league’s history.
