With the global crisis suspending the honourary individual award for last year, AceFootball presents the top 20 Ballon d’Or rankings for the year 2021.
Last year, the Ballon d’Or ceremony was cancelled due to the advent of coronavirus and football supporters were eagerly waiting for the next one. In 2021, football is back to normal and so is the individual award, which will be announced on November 29 in Paris.
During the last month, the nominees for this distinguished prize were announced, which includes Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo along with 28 others. The mercurial Argentine claimed the Ballon d’Or trophy back in 2019 before the pandemic.
