Manchester City have the most valuable squad in the Premier League, according to data from Transfermarkt.

The Citizens claimed a historic treble last season but continued to improve their squad during the summer. Matheus Nunes, Josko Gvardiol, Jeremy Doku, and Mateo Kovacic have arrived at Etihad to cover for the departures of the likes of Ilkay Gundogan, Cole Palmer, and Riyad Mahrez.

Sitting just below City are Arsenal, whose project under Mikel Arteta has seen them invest in more established stars in recent seasons. Nevertheless, the Gunners have continued to promote their academy talents, with the likes of Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli becoming the cornerstones of Arteta’s squad.

Newcastle have expectedly risen to the seventh spot as they’ve significantly improved their squad since their Saudi takeover in 2021. Nottingham Forest’s ascent to the tenth position marks another significant update. Forest made 14 additions to their squad during the summer transfer window, adding the likes of Ibrahim Sangare and Anthony Elanga to their ranks.
