As he keeps trying to improve at Chelsea, Timo Werner wanted to commend one of the club’s top players for his impressive skill.
Top players like Timo Werner don’t tend to get impressed that often by anybody at Chelsea, but there’s a star who made it happen. Anybody who crosses paths with N’Golo Kante will get a proper surprise of the incredible talent that he is. They didn’t make songs about him during the World Cup for nothing. He is the talisman that many clubs in the world would kill to have but Chelsea are the lucky ones.
As far as skills go, Kante has a unique ability to always give 110% during every training session. His talent to take the ball from any player is unparalleled and everybody around him notice what a special talent he is. However, Timo Werner is getting to watch him with first row seats and he is enjoying every minute of it.
Timo describes Kante’s skills.
During an interview with Sky Sports Germany, Werner said: “We have so many good players! But one is special, even if many know how good he is: N’Golo Kanté stands out in real life. What he runs away from the ball and what kind of competitor he is in training – unbelievable. If you think he can’t get the ball, then he’ll steal it from behind you. This is impressive. Although I knew beforehand that N’Golo was probably the best six in the world, he always surprised me positively in training.
“Having him on your own team is a blessing. Even offensively, he just marches so much. And what’s more, he’s just the dearest person on earth. As an example: he is knocked down from behind and laughs at himself first. It’s really impressive how someone can have such peace of mind as N’Golo. It is something special to be able to play with him.”
