Real Madrid decide their 2023 transfer priority

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham is Real Madrid’s transfer priority for 2023.

The 19-year-old England international has a host of suitors chasing his services. Liverpool are interested, but Bellingham allegedly prefers Real Madrid. The Spanish and European champions will step up their interest in the new year, hoping to get a deal done once and for all.

Dortmund will expect around €120 million for Bellingham. [Goal]

Liverpool & Man Utd step up interest in Fernandez

Liverpool have joined Manchester United in intensifying their efforts to do a transfer deal for Enzo Fernandez.

The Benfica midfielder is one of the most in-demand young prospects in football. The World Cup’s Best Young Player award winner has a host of suitors, including Chelsea. Benfica won’t consider a sale for less than €120 million – the full amount of the player’s release clause.

Morata to replace Ronaldo on loan?

Atletico Madrid striker Alvaro Morata is a reported loan target for Manchester United.

The Red Devils hope to sign a short-term replacement for the departed Cristiano Ronaldo. Morata’s teammate Joao Felix is another option, but Atletico Madrid expect a loan fee worth €8 million. On top of that, United would also have to pay the forward’s salary.

Barcelona shortlist four right-back targets

The Blaugrana have shortlisted Thomas Meunier (Borussia Dortmund), Benjamin Pavard (Bayern Munich), Juan Foyth (Villarreal), and Giovanni Di Lorenzo (Napoli) as their right-back transfer targets.

Out of the four targets, Di Lorenzo is a relatively new addition. Barcelona like the 29-year-old Napoli captain a lot. But his price is too high for now, so the LaLiga leaders will see if it drops in the summer. [Diario Sport]
