Man Utd begin talks for €85m-rated Barcelona star
Manchester United have held talks with Barcelona about a transfer for Frenkie de Jong.
The 25-year-old Dutchman is on Manchester United’s list of midfield targets as the club look to strengthen in the area following the summer exits of Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard. But there are ‘significant obstacles’ to overcome for a deal. Namely, Barcelona’s reported €85 million asking price and the player’s willingness to join the Premier League club.

Salah wants to stay in the Premier League
Mohamed Salah wants to stay in the Premier League, even if he leaves Liverpool as a free agent in the summer of 2023.

Real Madrid plan to target a transfer for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham in the summer of 2023.
The 18-year-old is already a fully-fledged member of the England national team and Dortmund. His performances in Germany have caught the eye of Real Madrid. However, as his contract runs until 2025, he won’t come cheap if the Spanish and European champions step up their interest. [Bild – in German]
Inter try to poach Mkhitaryan from Roma
Inter Milan plan to poach Henrikh Mkhitaryan from AS Roma as the midfielder enters the last month of his contract.
Roma have offered Mkhitaryan €3.5 million per year plus bonuses to extend his contract. However, Inter have offered the former Manchester United and Arsenal man a two-year contract worth €4.5 million per year. They can also give him the chance to play in the Champions League again.
