Man United’s hopes of landing £60m striker rest on one condition
The Red Devils hope to sign Benfica’s £60m-rated ($79m/€71m) striker Darwin Nunez in the summer transfer window.
Their chances of pulling off a deal, however, rest on qualifying for the Champions League next season. Manchester United currently sit four points outside the top four in the Premier League table.
A move to Spain, where Atletico Madrid have a long-standing interest, is the most probable option for Nunez at the moment. [Telegraph – subscription needed]
Kante rejected PSG approach
Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante turned down an approach from Paris Saint-Germain in January.

Arsenal aiming to keep Lacazette
The Gunners could offer Alexandre Lacazette a new one-year deal at the end of the season.

Neymar wants to stay at PSG
Contrary to speculation suggesting otherwise, Neymar is happy and wants to stay at Paris Saint-Germain.
The 30-year-old forward is under contract in the French capital until June 2025. A transfer to another club is unlikely, because of his salary demands. Therefore, he could run out the rest of his contract. [Goal]

The Reds have beaten Real Madrid to the signature of Fulham midfielder Fabio Carvalho.

Martial for Kane?
Manchester United could use Anthony Martial as a makeweight in a deal for Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
The Red Devils want to sign a striker ahead of the summer transfer window. Kane is one option under consideration. Tottenham rate the 28-year-old England captain at over £100 million ($131m/€118m), although United hope to knock this price down by using Martial.
