Man United eye £50m move for ‘Yorkshire Pirlo’

Manchester United are considering a £50 million (€60m) transfer bid for Leeds midfielder Kalvin Phillips this summer.

The 26-year-old, dubbed as the ‘Yorkshire Pirlo’, is under contract at Leeds until 2024. As things stand, Manchester United have not approached Leeds nor the player’s inner circle. [The Athletic – subscription required]

Barcelona table first offer to Lewandowski

The Blaugrana would pay around €30-35 million for the transfer of Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.

Barcelona have offered the 33-year-old Pole a two-year contract, with an option for a third season included.
