Kieran Trippier is desperate to quit Atletico Madrid and move back to the Premier League this summer, according to The Telegraph.

The English full-back is a subject of interest for Manchester United, who have already seen their approaches rejected, and a couple of other English top-flight teams.

Willock set for second Newcastle loan spell

Arsenal’s Joe Willock is close to rejoining Newcastle United on a season-long loan deal, as per The Telegraph.

His last season’s loan spell at St James’ Park was a success, with the 21-year-old midfielder scoring eight goals in 14 Premier League games.

Man City monitoring Lewandowski situation

Manchester City set sights on Robert Lewandowski as Harry Kane‘s departure from Tottenham looks unlikely.

Lewandowski would be a short-term but much more cost-effective solution for Man City as compared to Kane. The Polish striker is 32 years old and has only two years remaining on his Bayern contract.

Julian Nagelsmann, who is accustomed to setting his team up without an out-and-out centre forward from his time at RB Leipzig, could consider cashing in on his star player this summer. [Daily Mail]

Everton’s bid for Koulibaly rejected

Napoli turned down a €35 million offer from Everton for defender Kalidou Koulibaly, reports Calciomercato.

The Premier League outfit must almost double their initial transfer offer, which also included performance-related bonuses, as the Serie A side demand at least €60 million for the defender.

PSG’s interest in Hernandez confirmed 

Paris Saint-Germain interest in Theo Hernandez has been confirmed as they reportedly put a €40 million offer on AC Milan’s table for the left-back.

Milan, however, turned down the transfer offer as they do not intend to part ways with the Frenchman. [Tuttosport]
