€90m-rated defender favors Barcelona over Chelsea
Sevilla defender Jules Kounde reportedly favors a transfer to Barcelona over Premier League clubs Chelsea and Newcastle United.
Despite Chelsea and Newcastle’s willingness to pay Kounde’s €90 million release clause, Sevilla could accept a €65 million to €75 million offer, which may include Sergino Dest, from Barcelona.
Kounde, however, recently underwent minor surgery on an injury and could be sidelined for at least a month. [Mundo Deportivo – in Spanish]

Man City eye £45m-50m bid for Phillips
Manchester City think a transfer fee of between £45 million and £50 million would be enough to sign Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips.
The Premier League champions are hopeful Phillips would push to take up the opportunity to join them if it’s presented.

Lukaku-Inter Milan reunion still possible
Despite a €5 million gap in loan fee valuation, Inter Milan are still confident of re-signing Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea on loan. The clubs held further talks on Wednesday.
Chelsea want a €10 million loan fee for a striker that they paid Inter €115 million to sign last summer, but the Italian giants are only willing to spend as much as €5 million so far. [Sky Sports]
Torre completes Barcelona move
Racing Santander midfielder Pablo Torre has completed a €5 million transfer to Barcelona.
The 19-year-old Spaniard has signed a contract with Barca until June 2026. The deal includes a €100 million release clause. He will link up with the B team.

Henderson set to join Nottingham Forest
Nottingham Forest have a deal in place to sign Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson on loan.
The agreement includes an optional transfer fee of £20 million (€23m) in the event the newly-promoted Premier League side decide to keep Henderson on a permanent basis. [Mail]
