Chelsea ready to enter the race for £130m midfielder
The Blues have thrown their hat in the ring in the transfer race for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham.
Liverpool and Real Madrid are also interested in Bellingham. The 19-year-old England international has impressed in the Bundesliga, causing a fresh surge of interest in Europe. Dortmund have, therefore, slapped a £130 million price tag on him. [Telegraph – subscription required]

Barcelona open the door for Messi return
Eduard Romeu, Barcelona’s vice president in the economic area, has said a reunion with Lionel Messi next summer would be financially possible.
The 35-year-old forward, who left Barcelona in 2021 as the club couldn’t afford to renew his contract, could be available for a free transfer if he doesn’t extend his deal at Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season.

Gundogan is another target for Barcelona
Barcelona are interested in doing a transfer deal for Manchester City Ilkay Gundogan.
The 31-year-old Germany international will be out of contract at the end of the season. Several clubs are interested, including Barca. Xavi’s side, however, will only move for Gundogan if they cannot sign his City teammate Bernardo Silva. [Diario Sport]

Tottenham line-up Lloris replacement
Antonio Conte’s side have made Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak their top target to replace Hugo Lloris.
Lloris could leave Tottenham when his contract expires in 2024, causing the club to look for a long-term successor to the 35-year-old shot-stopper. Oblak is their preferred option. Spurs have already sounded out the 29-year-old Slovenian about a transfer next summer. [Evening Standard]

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has refused to rule out a potential transfer for either Kylian Mbappe or Erling Haaland.
