Paris Saint-Germain are seriously considering the prospect of signing Chelsea’s Tiemoue Bakayoko. Sporting director Leonardo is a huge admirer of the 26-year old Frenchman, with bringing in a defensive-minded midfielder a priority for the club in this transfer market.
PSG want Bakayoko on an initial loan deal but Chelsea seem only interested in selling him outright. [ESPN]
Gotze emerges as shock Bayern target.
Bayern Munich have held discussions with Mario Gotze regarding a potential return to the club. Manager Hansi Flick himself contacted the midfielder, who is currently a free agent.

Ajax’s Sergino Dest is considering selecting FC Barcelona as his next destination. The USMNT fullback finds the offer from the Catalan giants quite attractive, having already agreed to personal terms.

Aston Villa are looking to initiate a pursuit for Chelsea’s Ross Barkley. The club want to sign the midfielder on loan, with him having been deemed surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge.
