Dani Carvajal is set to sign a contract extension with Real Madrid, reports El Partidazo de COPE.

The Spanish right-back has agreed to a new four-year deal that will keep him at Santiago Bernabeu until 2025.

A product of the club’s youth academy, the 29-year-old has been a key member of the Los Blancos squad ever since returning from his one-year stint at Bayer Leverkusen in 2013.

Romero emerges on Barca radar

Cristian Romero has emerged as a serious transfer target for FC Barcelona, as per Sportitalia.

The La Liga giants have already submitted an opening bid for the 23-year-old center-back, who is currently on loan at Atalanta from Juventus.

Barca’s interest in the Argentina international could be a cause for concern for Tottenham, who are also keen on him.

Ramsey to return to Premier League?

Aaron Ramsey could retrace his steps to the Premier League this summer two years after leaving Arsenal.

The Juventus midfielder is a subject of interest for Tottenham, although it’s doubtful if he would be willing to join his former club’s arch-rivals.

A fee as low as €10 million should be enough to convince Juve to cash in on the 30-year-old, who is tied to a €300,000-a-week contract at the club.

The Wales international spent a significant amount of time on the sidelines last season and made just 30 appearances across all competitions. [Gazzetta dello Sport]

Monaco after Arsenal’s Willock

Arsenal midfielder Joe Willock is being courted by Monaco, according to The Sun.

The 21-year-old spent the second half of 2020-21 on loan at Newcastle United, who are keen on snapping him up a permanent transfer in the wake of his impressive performances.

Out of the two clubs, the Ligue 1 outfit is the more attractive destination for Willock as they offer him Champions League football in the coming season.
