Arsenal set to meet €10m-a-year salary demand for Chelsea & Spurs target
The Premier League leaders have joined Chelsea and Tottenham in the transfer race for Adrien Rabiot.
The Juventus midfielder is out of contract next summer and is unlikely to sign an extension. His €10 million-a-year salary demand has put Juve off, just like it did with Manchester United in the previous transfer window after the Red Devils agreed on a €20 million fee with his club. Chelsea won’t sign Ronaldo
The Blues don’t intend to sign Cristiano Ronaldo as they have done a deal for RB Leipzig attacker Christopher Nkunku worth around €50 million.
Ronaldo is available for a free transfer after agreeing to end his contract with Manchester United. Chelsea’s co-owner Todd Boehly had an eye on CR7 last summer, but it seems he won’t be revisiting his interest. It’s understood the forward won’t suit new manager Graham Potter’s style of play. Xavi told how Barcelona can sign players in January
Barcelona have told manager Xavi Hernandez that January transfer deals are possible, but only if they sell players first.
Despite their financial troubles, Barcelona signed seven players in the summer. Four of them – Franck Kessie, Andreas Christensen, Hector Bellerin, and Marcos Alonso – joined on free transfers. Laimer says no to Chelsea, wants Bayern Munich instead
RB Leipzig midfielder Konrad Laimer has rejected a move to Chelsea.
