Arsenal pip Man Utd in the race for €100m striker
The Gunners are ahead of Manchester United in the transfer race for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.
Despite Napoli slapping a €100 million price tag on Osimhen to ward off interest, Arsenal remain keen. The London giants have eyed the 23-year-old Nigerian ‘for many months’. They have just two senior strikers left, after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s January exit to Barcelona.
The key to Arsenal’s hopes of signing Osimhen rest on qualifying for the Champions League. This would give them a crucial advantage over Manchester United and Newcastle. [La Gazzetta dello Sport – in Italian]

Lingard has no interest in Ten Hag talks
Jesse Lingard has no interest in talking to the new Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag.
While Ten Hag allegedly wishes to speak with Lingard about his future, the midfielder has no interest. He is ‘resigned’ to a summer exit. He feels United have let him down this past year following a lack of game time.
Newcastle, AC Milan, Juventus, and Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Lingard. The 29-year-old’s contract is out in the summer. He will, therefore, be available for a free transfer. [BBC]
Barcelona step up their efforts to sign Raphinha
The Catalan giants have stepped up their attempts to sign Leeds United winger Raphinha.
The transfer fee will rest on Leeds’ Premier League status at the end of the season. If the Whites suffer relegation, Barcelona can invoke Raphinha’s £25 million ($31m/€30m) release clause. In the league table, Leeds are in 17th place.
Barca’s increased efforts to sign the 25-year-old Brazilian comes amid reports they won’t turn Adama Traore’s loan from Wolves into a permanent deal this summer. [Telegraph]
