Arsenal make offer for player with €700m release clause

The Gunners have allegedly tabled a transfer offer to rival AC Milan for Marco Asensio. The Real Madrid winger has a reported €700 million buyout clause in his contract, which ends in 2023.

Speaking on SportMediaset, one of Asensio’s representatives said: “Milan’s interest is a pride, a future in Milan is an option. There are also offers from a couple of English clubs, including Arsenal. We are ready to evaluate every possibility.”
