Arsenal eye a move for fresh Mudryk alternative

After Chelsea pipped them in the Mykhailo Mudryk race, Arsenal have made a list of transfer alternatives. The latest name to emerge is Eintracht Frankfurt winger Jesper Lindstrom.

€20 million may be enough to sign the 22-year-old Denmark international this month. Reports have also linked Arsenal with Bayer Leverkusen star Moussa Diaby and Barcelona ace Raphinha. Out of the trio, Lindstrom would command a much lower transfer fee. [Steve Kay – Capital One]

Busquets rejects a huge offer from Al Nassr

Barcelona captain Sergio Busquets has rejected a €20 million-per-year contract offer from Al Nassr.

The Saudi Arabian club wanted to link Busquets up with star signing Cristiano Ronaldo. The 34-year-old midfielder’s contract at Barcelona runs out at the end of the season. However, with manager Xavi Hernandez keen to keep him, he has left his future open for now. [Tot costa – Catalunya Radio]

West Ham table a bid for Ings

West Ham United have lodged a bid to sign Aston Villa striker Danny Ings.

If selling Ings helps increase their transfer budget, Villa are prepared to do a deal. The 30-year-old is the club’s top scorer this season, with seven goals and two assists in 21 games. His contract at the Premier League club runs until June 2024. [Telegraph – subscription required]

Spurs make €34m offer for Porro

Tottenham have made a transfer bid of €34 million plus add-ons for Sporting CP defender Pedro Porro.

Sporting, however, want Spurs to meet the full release clause of €45 million in Porro’s contract. The 23-year-old  Spaniard has impressed in the last two-and-a-half years in Portugal. Allegedly, Chelsea are also interested in him. [Record – in Portuguese]

Sommer is ready to join Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich have struck a deal with Borussia Monchengladbach to sign goalkeeper Yann Sommer.

The Bavarians will pay Gladbach €8 million up front and a further €1.5 million in add-ons for Sommer, who will now proceed to complete the final steps of his transfer to Munich.

Barcelona might make a move for Guedes

Wolves forward Goncalo Guedes is the latest rumored transfer target for Barcelona.
