Manchester City are weighing up a move for Dani Ceballos in the next summer transfer window. Pep Guardiola is an admirer of the Spanish midfielder and would try to sign him, should the manager earn a contract extension at the Etihad.

Borussia Dortmund do not intend to sell Jadon Sancho to Manchester United in the winter transfer market. The Bundesliga side plan to keep hold of their prized asset until the end of this season. Ilicic lining up for Atalanta return.

Saturday night could mark the long-awaited return of Atalanta forward Josip Ilicic. The 32-year old has been out of action for more than three months due to personal problems.

Maximiliano Allegri is a candidate to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United. Questions have been raised on Solskjaer’s future as the Red Devils boss after the team’s poor start to the season. Should he ultimately get the ax, the former Juventus boss could become his successor.
