The Ghana international gave an honest verdict of his performances at Arsenal.

Thomas Partey has revealed he is his own worst critic, giving himself only a 4/10 for his performances at Arsenal so far.

The 28-year-old has struggled to meet expectations in north London since a €50 million switch from Atletico Madrid in October 2020.

A recurring set of injury setbacks has denied Partey a chance to put together any real run of consistency in the team and adjust to the hefty demands of Premier League football.

However, in an interview with Sky Sports, the Ghanaian offered himself no excuses. He insists he can do better, highlighted areas for improvement, and promised to work on his consistency.

“I give myself four [out of 10], because there are moments I can really hurt the other team but there are also moments where I allow myself to lose focus and that’s when everything goes down,” Partey said.

“This is when you realize that you have to get better.”

He added: “From the defense to the attack, I can help the team a lot.

“I have to read more of the game. Now I am having a lot of continuous games, it is normal that some games, or some moments in the games, I will be down. With more games, with more confidence, I will be able to get to where I want to be.”

Partey could return to action for Arsenal’s trip to Everton on Monday in a Premier League clash. For match details and betting tips, check out the link here.
