Norwich City defender Max Aarons is being tracked by multiple top clubs and several transfer talks have been initiated.

Max Aarons is undoubtedly the most wanted player in the Championship right now. Despite being only 21 years of age, Aarons has collected 108 appearances for Norwich City and was awarded the EFL’s Young Player of the Season award in 2018.

Last year, after a terrific breakout season in the Premier League, Max Aarons was approached by major clubs such as Barcelona, Manchester United, and AC Milan. However, the young right-back stayed at Norwich City despite their relegation from England’s top-tier.

The 21-year-old defender has featured in 33 matches for the Canaries and his impressive performances keep impressing some of Europe’s biggest clubs. Recently, Norwich’s owner Delia Smith claimed Aarons was on his way to becoming one of the world’s best footballers.

“Max Aarons is one of the best. He is going to be one of the top footballers and it won’t be at Norwich. Obviously, we will lose him, but that is part of our plan.”

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Everton has become the latest club to put the young defender on their list. Carlo Ancelotti is looking for a new right-back and sees Max Aarons as a great solution.

However, the Toffees face major competition in their pursuit. In fact, Bayern Munich has reportedly opened talks to sign the player and may be open to offering the €35 million fee Norwich City is asking for. Moreover, Manchester United are still scouting Aarons as he would provide a great attacking alternative for Wan-Bissaka.
