According to a recent report, Erling Haaland is only considering six clubs to join after he ends his spell with Borussia Dortmund soon.

Erling Haaland is the type of player who doesn’t want to represent any club in the world. He deeply understands the value of his quality and as such, he knows there are only a few clubs that can pay for his services. Sport Bild recently made a report of Erling Haaland’s train of thought as he is starting to look at his next destination as a professional footballer. Apart from the clubs that can actually pay for him, the Norwegian striker is also looking for the clubs that can help him achieve the most accolades.

These clubs are a select group of six that span across the European Union and the UK. Amongst the names reported we have Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Juventus. At first glance, you can easily see why these are the only names on the list. However, there are other major clubs that are snubbed by the striker.

PSG, Chelsea, and Bayern are out.

Perhaps the three most surprising snubbed clubs are PSG, Chelsea, and Bayern Munich. In the case of the German giants, they are not the type of club that would pay over €100 million for a football player. This leaves them out by default. However, Sport Bild reports that Haaland doesn’t see PSG and Chelsea as part of the list because they lack the prestige that the other clubs have.

This could be considered an insult and a massive disrespect for these institutions. However, they are famous for basically buying their trophies with billions of euros. It’s also funny how Manchester City is on the list regardless of their economic power. There’s a feeling that Pep Guardiola is the one who attracts Haaland to possibly play for the Citizens someday. Which of these clubs suits Erling the most?
