The Hungarian attacker had quickly become a target for a number of high-profile clubs following his rise to prominence last season.

Dominik Szoboszlai has explained his decision to join RB Leipzig despite interest from the likes of Arsenal and AC Milan saying the club “fits his style of play”.

Szoboszlai jumped ships from RB Salzburg to sister club RB Leipzig in January for a reported €20 million, becoming the most expensive Hungarian player in history in the process.

Versatility is one of the many qualities of the talent-rich 20-year-old, who is capable of operating as a winger or as an attacking midfielder.

He is regarded as one of Europe’s most promising talents while many even consider him to become one of the world’s best in his position in the future.

“It is a highly attractive club that fits my style of play,” Szoboszlai said of his decision to join Leipzig in an exclusive interview with 101greatgoals.

“The ambition of the club meets mine. I am always hungry for more, so is RB Leipzig and the team.

“In addition, there is still so much potential in this young team. I am sure that we can be successful in the future.”
