Chelsea star agrees deal ‘in principle’ to join Barcelona

Barcelona reportedly have an ‘agreement in principle’ to sign Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta on a free transfer this summer.

The 32-year-old  right-back’s contract at Chelsea expires at the end of the season. Therefore, unless he agrees to an extension before then, he will become a free agent. [Sport]

Manchester City are favorites to sign Haaland

The Premier League leaders have emerged in pole position to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland in a £68 million (€81m) deal.

Haaland’s father, Alf Inge, is apparently in favor of his son joining Manchester City over other potential suitors. The former midfielder played for the club between 2000 and 2003. [Football Insider]

Could Fekir join Barcelona for €60m?

Barcelona president Joan Laporta likes Real Betis attacking midfielder Nabil Fekir.

Mourinho plots Arsenal raid as part of €100m transfer swoop

Amid rumors AS Roma could see several players leave in the summer, Jose Mourinho is plotting a €100 million investment in his squad.

Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka is at the top of Mourinho’s list. The Portuguese is a long-term admirer of the Switzerland international and tried to sign him last summer.
