The Blues have joined Inter Milan in the transfer race for Stuttgart left-back Borna Sosa.

Sevilla star pushing for Newcastle move
The representatives of Sevilla defender Diego Carlos are pushing for a transfer to Newcastle United.
They have arrived in Andalusia to convince Sevilla’s director of football, Monchi, into a sale. Newcastle want to pay around £30 million (€36m) for Carlos, although Sevilla may force them to double their bid to £60m (€72m). [90 min]

Guardiola to become the next Netherlands manager?
The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) has allegedly offered Pep Guardiola a chance to become the Netherlands manager.
Plans are already in place to convince Guardiola once he leaves Manchester City. The 51-year-old is under contract at the Etihad until the summer of 2023.

Claudio Ranieri faces the sack at Watford after just three months in charge.
The Hornets have lost 11 of their 14 games (W2 D1) under the Italian since his appointment last October. Friday’s 3-0 loss to Norwich, meanwhile, dropped them into the relegation zone.
