The 2025 summer transfer window is shaping up to be one of the most exciting in recent memory—especially for strikers.

A number of Europe’s top clubs are in desperate need of firepower up front, which means we can expect major moves for some of the most sought-after center-forwards in the game. Here are 10 top strikers and where they’re likely to land this summer.

1. Victor Osimhen – Napoli to the Premier League?

Victor Osimhen is set to leave SSC Napoli permanently. The Nigerian goal machine has outgrown the Serie A side and is keen on joining a top club in one of Europe’s biggest leagues.

Chelsea and Manchester United have both shown strong interest, and Osimhen has admitted admiration for both clubs. Chelsea’s goal-scoring woes may force them to pay what it takes, but United—also lacking a reliable striker—remain firmly in the race.

Don’t rule out Paris Saint-Germain either, who might swoop in with their financial muscle.

2. Liam Delap – Bargain of the Summer?

Former Man City youngster Liam Delap could be on the move if Ipswich Town get relegated, thanks to a £40 million release clause. Chelsea, Manchester United, and Newcastle United are reportedly leading the race.

At just 22, Delap represents long-term value, and with top clubs circling, expect him to land in either London or Manchester.

3. Alexander Isak – The Most Expensive of Them All?

Newcastle United won’t let go of Alexander Isak easily. The Swedish striker, under contract until 2028, could fetch up to €150 million.

His most likely destination? Barcelona. The Catalan giants could fund the move by offloading Robert Lewandowski to Saudi Arabia and selling fringe players. Arsenal was previously linked, but recent internal changes have shifted their focus.

4. Viktor Gyökeres – Arsenal’s Top Target

Swedish striker Viktor Gyökeres is on fire for Sporting CP with over 50 goal contributions this season. Arsenal see him as a more affordable alternative to Isak, with a reported price tag between £55–£70 million.

He’s proven, powerful, and technically gifted—everything the Gunners need up front.

5. Benjamin Šeško – Young and Dangerous

At just 21, Benjamin Šeško is already one of Europe’s hottest young strikers. The RB Leipzig forward has 24 goal involvements this season and is being monitored by Arsenal, Chelsea, and even Barcelona.

Šeško could be a long-term investment for any top side looking to build a team for the future.

6. Matheus Cunha – Perfect Fit for Liverpool?

Wolves forward Matheus Cunha might not always play as a pure striker, but he’s proven his worth in that role. Arsenal and Chelsea are circling, but we think Liverpool could be his most likely destination.

With Darwin Núñez likely to be moved on, Cunha’s technical ability and versatility make him a great fit in the Reds’ system.

7. Hugo Ekitiké – Under the Radar Star

Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitiké is quietly having a great season in the Bundesliga. Still just 22, he’s in the top 10 scorers and is drawing attention from Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Man United.

He may not be a marquee signing, but he’s the perfect secondary option for a club building depth.

8. Jonathan David – The Free Agent Jackpot

Canadian striker Jonathan David has racked up 33 goal contributions for Lille this season. His contract expires this summer, and with wages under €40k per week, he’s arguably the best value-for-money option available.

Possible destinations include Barcelona, Liverpool, PSG, Inter Milan, and even West Ham.

9. Jean-Philippe Mateta – Quietly Climbing

Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta has built a strong case over the past two seasons with 35 goals combined. He could be a solid Plan B for top sides.

Manchester United, Nottingham Forest, and Bayern Munich are rumored to be monitoring him.

10. Ollie Watkins – Villa’s Crown Jewel

Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins was wanted by Arsenal in January, but it’s unclear if the Gunners will return for him. He’s experienced, versatile, and one of the Premier League’s best-performing forwards.

Villa may be tempted to cash in, given his age (29), or choose to hold on tight if they plan to compete again next season.
