Bayern Munich annihilated Barcelona at the Estadio da Luz but midfield magician Thiago Alcantara is edging towards an exit.

Two Barcelona boys were on the pitch as Lionel Messi and Co. were mentally dismantled and physically exhausted by Bayern Munich.

Philippe Coutinho came on as a substitute and finished the fame with two goals and an assist. Meanwhile, Thiago Alcantara started from the get-go. He did not get on the scoreboard or make an assist. However, his presence could be felt in everything the Bavarians stood out for.

Bayern fans do not have the luxury of watching Thiago for long. The Champions League is his last hurrah if Patrick Strasser is to be believed.

Strasser believes Thiago on his way out and is close to joining Liverpool. The transfer expert shared that only the transfer details are to be finalized with the Reds as the midfielder has already bid farewell to his teammates.

“I think so yeah, he definitely wants to, and it’s just a matter of how many millions Bayern want to earn from this player,” Strasser told the Kick-Off on talkSPORT.

“It’s said they want to make about €30m to €40m this transfer and I’m not sure if Liverpool can afford that or want to pay that.”

“But Jurgen Klopp is desperate and keen to get Thiago in his squad.”

“Thiago has already said goodbye to his teammates in Munich and the bosses know he’s going to leave.”

“It’s just a matter of money, in the end.”
