Stephan El Shaarawy open to a return back to Europe

Ex-Roma star Stephan El Shaarawy is open to a return to Europe and already has offers from the likes of PSG, Atletico Madrid and Arsenal.

Stephan El Shaarawy has reportedly been allowed to leave Shanghai Shanghua on loan this summer. Roma, PSG, Arsenal and Atletico Madrid are all possible options.

PSG are reportedly the most interested side in the 27-year-old with talk of a move well on the cards.

As per Di Marzio, the French giants are certainly interested alongside Arsenal and Roma.

The report does add that player’s preference is to go back to his former club Roma.

El Shaarawy’s only left the I Giallorossi for €16m just over a year ago.

The former Genoa and Milan talent made established himself as a top forward during his time in the Serie A.

Stephan El Shaarawy was recently called up by Roberto Mancini to the Italy squad.

The player is now keen on keeping his fitness levels and a loan move could be in line.

He turns 28 next month and has 25 senior Italy caps.
