Spezia and AC Milan faced each other at Stadio Alberto Picco this Saturday night. We have the player ratings.

AC Milan have their Serie A leadership at risk after losing 2-0 against Spezia this Saturday. The Rossoneri had a very poor display at Stadio Alberto Picco. Ibrahimovic left the pitch frustrated as his team didn’t manage to get a single shot on target.

Spezia pressed Milan very high on the pitch from the start and caused many difficulties to Stefano Pioli’s side. Additionally, the Rossoneri struggled to hand their attackers any decent balls. In fact, Calhanoglu was the only player who managed to create any danger.

Although the first half ended in a goalless tie, the last 45 minutes were bound to offer up some action. In an impressive play started by Agudelo, a fast counterattack ended up in the feet of Maggiore who tapped the ball into Donnarumma’s goal.

Despite being the clear underdogs, Spezia didn’t back down and kept going for goal till the end of the match. With less than half an hour to go, Dalot took down Saponara at the edge of the box. Estevez used the free-kick to pass the ball onto Bastoni who scored a serious contender for goal of the month.

Additionally, if Inter Milan wins their fixture this Sunday, the Nerazzurri will snatch up the top place in table from their Milano rivals. On the other hand, Spezia bagged their well-deserved second win in a row and manage to push further away from the relegation zone.
