After his documentary dropped, Sir Alex Ferguson got the reaction from many United legends that also include Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

For Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, having Sir Alex Ferguson coming with the club to Gdansk for the Europa League final is incredible. Just a few years back, the legendary manager suffered a stroke that nearly killed him. His latest documentary: ‘Never Give In’, is a perfect way to motivate all Manchester United players for this final. Solskjaer knows what playing for this manager is exactly like.

In many ways, the Norwegian coach is trying to follow in Sir Alex Ferguson’s footsteps as the Red Devils’ manager. It’s obvious he will feel a certain level of pressure having him around ahead of the final. However, everybody will agree we are lucky Sir Alex is still with us in such difficult times. All the United players are grateful for having such a legendary club figure near them at all times during this trip. We know Ole is certainly enjoying this time next to his mentor.

The players are thrilled with Sir Alex.

During the media day ahead of the Europa League final, Ole spoke about what Sir Alex means to all the players. He also mentioned the most recent documentary about his life at United. This is what Ole said via Manchester Evening News: “Some of the players and staff went to see his documentary. I sat there thinking about this man and what he’s done for the club, I’m sure Luke sitting next to me felt the same.

“He’s a special man and he’s like an encyclopedia of football, even though I got him on a quiz question yesterday. One of the players got the answer before him, I’m sure he’s not happy at that. Just to have him around when we eat, in the restaurant, if the players wonder about something they can ask him, he’s always available for a chat because this is the club of his heart and I hope he enjoys tomorrow night because I have to say I owe most of my career to him and this club.”
