Manchester United head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given an update regarding Marcus Rashford’s injury. The Norwegian said that they are still not sure whether or not the 23-year-old striker should undergo a surgery during this summer.
If you were unaware of the situation, Rashford has been fighting with a shoulder setback since last year. And it is being said that he may need to go through an operation following England’s Euro 2020 campaign.
However, Solskjaer has stated that the decision to perform a surgery has not been made yet. With the boss still in talks with the medical team at the Manchester club.
When asked if Rashford will undergo a surgery, Solskjaer told the reporters: “No, we’re looking at the best options.”
“Of course, he went away just to reflect on it a little bit. We have to take the best course of action for him and the club.”
“We’re still addressing that with the experts.”
