Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has his toughest test in Europa League as Manchester United take on the challenge of Sevilla for a place in the finals.

Sevilla did just enough to see off Wolverhampton Wanderers in their quarter-final affair. The English side succumbed to a late goal and crashed out of the Europa League.

Julen Lopetegui’s side have a meeting with another English side in Manchester United. The Kings of Europa League provide a tough proposition and the Red Devils are aware of this.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted the difficulty of the meeting. Nevertheless, Solskjaer fancies United’s chances, citing the extra days after their last fixture gives them an advantage.

This will be United’s third semi-final affair of the 2019/20 season. One which sees them in peak physical and mental condition.

“Well, we’ve had a few good days preparing, recovering, and training. It’s not very often that we have six days between games,” MUTV quoted Solskjaer.

“We’re ready; we’re physically ready. Mentally, the boys will be ready because it’s a semi-final and everyone will want to take part and I just want them to enjoy it. “

“For me as well, I’m looking forward to it. We’ve already been to a semi twice this season [in the Carabao and FA Cups] and we’re happy going as far as we have, but we’re not satisfied. We want to go one step further.”
