After missing minutes for the troubled Manchester United due to COVID19, the Brazilian is back in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team roster.

The Red Devils take on the Toffees this weekend in a crucial and entertaining fixture in the Premier League. And Ole Gunnar Solskjaer affirmed the availability of new signing Alex Telles for Manchester United. He will be joining the squad against Everton in the hopes of lifting the team back with three points.

Solskjaer is under tremendous pressure at Old Trafford as United stands 15th on the league table. Though, the return of Telles could mean that there will be some extra firepower from the backline. We all have seen what the Brazil international is capable of doing following Solskjaer’s change of formation. Moreover, along with his defensive abilities, Telles provides support for the United front-three.

However, the left-back only played one game for the Red Devils. The 27-year-old marked his debut following ManUnited’s win over Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League. Although, unfortunately, Telles tested positive for COVID19 and spent his time in self-quarantine. But the good news for Solskjaer’s men is that he is back in the team training and fit for action.

He is back!

United head coach, furthermore, confirmed that Telles will possibly make his return alongside Victor Lindelof at Goodison Park.

“We’ve not lost any [players] from the Istanbul trip,” the manager said. “Same group, same squad.

“Alex has started training with us, which is good. Victor has still got the issue that he’s been struggling with. He’ll have to be checked tonight [Friday] in the hotel.

“It’s the same squad as before Istanbul really.”
