Manchester United confirmed on Tuesday morning that Ronaldo’s return is complete. The Red Devils legend rejoins on a two-year deal from Juventus, with the option for a further 12 months included. He could make his debut on September 11 against Newcastle in the Premier League.
Now Ronaldo has taken to Instagram to express his joy, vow to make even more history, and pay tribute to the man who brought him to Old Trafford as an 18-year-old back in 2003.

In fact, Sir Alex Ferguson played a vital role in Ronaldo’s return when Manchester City came knocking on the star’s door.
The legendary manager contacted Cristiano, his agent Jorge Mendes, and members of United’s board to start a reunion. His actions in uniting the club and player once more were credited as ‘decisive’.
