Ace Football presents detailed betting tips on the upcoming Serie A games of the weekend.

As we prepare for another weekend of Serie A football, our experts take a look at the bookmakers’ predictions for the upcoming matches.

Let’s check out three betting tips for Matchday 27 of Serie A.

Back Juventus to defeat Empoli

Juventus are fighting a battle to close the gap to third-placed Napoli at the top of the Serie A table. The Bianconeri missed their chance of getting two points closer to their rivals when they failed to beat their city-rivals Torino last week.

However, this week they face an Empoli side who have struggled defensively in their recent matches. The Blues are on a horrendous run of 10 winless games. They have conceded more than three goals against Roma, Inter, Sassuolo, Milan, and Lazio since December 22.

Don’t expect goals when Salernitana host Bologna

Salernitana sit at the rock bottom of the Serie A table with only 14 points from their 24 matches. The newly-promoted side have one of the worst defensive stats across Europe’s top-five league, having already conceded 55 goals.

However, this weekend they will face opponents who are not so great when it comes to scoring goals. Bologna have one of the worst attacking stats of the entire league, owing their lower mid-table spot to narrow wins and several draws. The Red and Blues are also on a run of five winless games.

Expect Napoli to defeat Lazio

Napoli have been in great form since the start of the second half of the season. The Partenopei are still boasting the best defence in the league, with Victor Osimhen having fortified their attacking unit after returning from injury.

This weekend, Luciano Spalletti’s side will face Lazio, who have also enjoyed good form lately. The Biancocelesti have been undefeated in their last four Serie A games. However, we expect their run to end against Napoli as they have already shown signs of a dip in form in their previous two games.

Lazio suffered a 2-1 defeat against Porto before drawing 1-1 against a struggling Udinese side. With Lazio’s backline set to face one of the league’s strongest attacking units, we expect Napoli to bag the three points at Stadio Olimpico.
