Ace Football presents detailed betting tips on the upcoming Serie A games of the weekend.

As we prepare for another weekend of Serie A football, our experts take a look at the bookmakers’ predictions for the upcoming matches.

Let’s check out three betting tips for Matchday 33 of Serie A.

Don’t expect goals when Milan host Genoa

Back to Back draws have put Milan’s place on top of the table in danger. Torino and Bologna both held the Rossoneri to goalless draws, with Inter and Napoli closing the gap to Stefano Pioli’s men to two points.

This week, the Serie A leaders will face Genoa at their home stadium. It is a must-win game for Milan, but we don’t expect Milan to find easy goalscoring chances against their 19th-placed opponents.

Genoa suffered a 4-1 defeat against Lazio last week, but we predict they won’t make the same mistakes against Milan’s out-of-form attacking line. Prior to their match against Lazio, the relegation-battling side had conceded only twice in their last six games. Milan will push hard to break Genoa’s defence at San Siro, but the guests’ defensive stats convince us that we won’t see many goals on Friday.

Expect goals on both ends when Atalanta meet Verona

Atalanta have suffered back to back defeats in their last two games. Having scored in all of their last five games, La Dea have retained their brilliant attacking form. However, defensive problems have prevented them from holding on to their victories.

On Monday, Gian Piero Gasperini’s side will face Verona, who suffer from similar problems. The Yellow and Blues have scored in seven of their last eight games, registering only three wins.

Both sides will try to bounce back from their last week’s defeats. We expect them to find plenty of goalscoring chances, with attacking superiority most likely becoming the game’s deciding factor.

Don’t expect goals when Udinese meet Empoli

Empoli drew 0-0 with Spezia last week as Udinese leapfrogged them from the 13th spot with a victory over Venezia. The draw was far from what they wanted against the Eagles, but at least they kept another Serie A clean sheet.

Empoli’s in-form backline will face a serious test this weekend when they meet Cagliari. They can reclaim the 13th place on the table if they beat their opponents. However, Udinese’s defensive stats convince us the guests won’t find too many goalscoring chances.

Udinese will most likely have the upper hand throughout the match. However, the threat of Empoli’s quick counter-attacks will be enough to keep them at bay for most of the game.
