Massimiliano Allegri’s side will now have to look for a win against Cagliari to prevent Roma from threatening their fourth spot on the table. Their opponents are on a run of four consecutive defeats, coming into the game on the back of a disappointing 5-1 defeat against Udinese.

Don’t expect goals when Sampdoria meet Bologna
Sampdoria and Bologna will lock horns in a mid-table battle this week. Both sides have put their spots on the table in great danger in recent weeks, showing poor attacking displays.
Sampdoria have scored more than twice in only one of their last six games. Despite playing a relatively good game against Roma last week, they were not able to escape a 1-0 home defeat.
On the other hand, Bologna have suffered from the same issues in recent weeks. The 12th-placed side have failed to score in their last four games, with an impressive goalless draw against Milan solely highlighting their defensive stability. We don’t expect Sampdoria and Bologna to find easy goalscoring chances on Monday.
