Sergio Ramos is set to join Neymar on the sidelines when PSG take on Real Madrid in the Champions League next week.

Sergio Ramos and Neymar are set to miss Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League game with Real Madrid next week.

Neymar has not played for the Ligue 1 giants since November, while Ramos is sidelined with a calf injury. Both players are ruled out for this weekend’s Ligue 1 clash with Rennes.

However, PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino has not completely ruled out Neymar’s return ahead of the clash against Los Blancos.

“We’ll see if it can happen,” Pochettino said (via Marca).

“That’s the idea. All the big guys want to play in the big games.

“He already knows what it’s like to arrive injured at these games and has the maturity to channel his energy and play in the best conditions when he’s available.”

Meanwhile, Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Karim Benzema will be fit to face PSG after missing Madrid’s last two games due to an injury.

As reported by Football Espana, Ancelotti was asked by a cameraman whether Benzema would make the squad against PSG, and the Madrid boss nodded to suggest a yes.
