PSG march past Feignies in their first step to defend their French Cup title.
PSG defeated Feignies 3-0 in their French Cup game on Sunday night. The Parisians outclassed the fifth-tier side as they reached the next round with an easy win.

PSG did not have Lionel Messi in their squad for the game Feignies made a few decent chances in the first ten minutes of the game. However, they were not able to get past PSG’s backline.
The guests then tried their chance and soon got their opener. Following a careless challenge by Diedhiou, the referee awarded PSG a penalty. Kylian Mbappe opened the scoring for the Parisians in the 16th minute.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side continued their attacks after the game but were not able to score from open play. Another foul on Mbappe resulted in another penalty for PSG. However, this time the Frenchman gave the penalty to Mauro Icardi. The Argentine sent the keeper the wrong way to double PSG’s lead in the 31st minute.
At the beginning of the second half, PSG once again intensified their efforts to get their next goal. Only six minutes into the second period, Mbappe completed his brace to make it 3-0 for PSG. Following a great pass from Colin Dagba, the France international fired a precise shot into the back of the net.
PSG had several chances to increase their lead after the third goal. However, impressive saves from Feignies goalkeeper Le Meur prevented them from scoring another goal.
PSG displayed a dominant performance against Feignies to qualify for the next round. On the other hand, the fifth-tier side could be happy with their surprising defensive stability in the second half.
