Man United set eyes on TWO defenders

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants a left-sided center-back in his defense and thinks David Carmo fits the bill. Signing the 21-year-old from Braga, however, will hinge on the sale of another defender, with Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo reportedly transfer listed. [ESPN]

Mbappe names his terms to PSG

Paris Saint-Germain’s determination to tie Kylian Mbappe down to a new long-term contract appears to have reached a breakthrough – albeit with a minimum-fee release clause.

The 21-year-old, who will be out of contract in June 2022, has apparently informed the club he’ll only put pen-to-paper on a new deal if they allow him to leave should a certain figure be matched. He has already turned down three renewal offers. And should no progress be made, PSG may sell him in the summer for €180m. [AS]

Gladbach starlet to not join Bayern Munich

Sporting director Max Eberl has shut down talk of Florian Neuhaus joining Bayern Munich. The 23-year-old midfielder has impressed for Borussia Monchengladbach, but Eberl doesn’t anticipate an exit soon. [Sport1]

Although Neuhaus recently stated ‘I don’t want to commit myself’ when asked about the prospect of a transfer to Bayern.

Ancelotti wants Isco at Everton

Isco is out of favor at Real Madrid and recently voiced his frustrations about it. In fact, he has made just three starts under Zinedine Zidane in all competitions this season. An exit, therefore, appears inevitable.

A surprise reunion with his former Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly in the pipeline. The now-Everton coach wants to bring Isco to Goodison Park, having already signed James Rodriguez from the Spanish club in the summer. Isco could join the Premier League club on loan in January.
